Summer at SCEG

The Ski Club of East Gippsland offers guests a family friendly lodge in a premier Mt Hotham location, with superb views of the Victorian High Country. In summer, our lodge is the perfect base for bush-walking and bike riding, high altitude fitness training or just a relaxing weekend away. Our location means we are a short drive to nearby Dinner Plain, Harrietville, Bright and the King Valley gourmet food and wine region. Guests have also used our lodge in the past for family reunions, gatherings with friends and as accommodation for wedding guests. The possibilities are endless!

Location

We are situated on the side of the "Big D" at Mount Hotham, surrounded by the Victorian High Country.

Amenities

Our modern lodge has 9 bedrooms and can house up to 32 guests at the one time. There are 3 communal bathrooms and a spacious lounge and dining area. We have free Wi-Fi access for guests.

Meals

All meals are self-catered. We have a commercial kitchen, microwave and sandwich press available. A guest fridge next to the balcony and storage drawers at the bar area provided for your convenience.

Summer activities

Mt Hotham is a great spot for bush walking, bike riding, high altitude fitness training and other activities.

Plan and get you bookins in for the green season, including cup weekend, summer school holidays, long weekends, Mountain/Surrounds Feature Events and Easter! 

What to bring?

BYO all linen including Sheets, towels, doona/sleeping bag and pillows (a clean mattress protector will be fitted to all mattresses prior to your arrival)

BYO all food and beverages (the General Store is open for dining, bar and basic supplies)

Cars can be driven up Higgi Drive and parked outside SCEG.

Higgie Drive must remain clear and free of vehicles at all times.

Firewood is available to use.

Rates

Minimum 2 night stay

Adults $80 per night

Children (4-17) $45 per night

Children (0-3) Free of charge

Plus cleaning fee per room per stay of $50

Group bookings filling 6 or more rooms capped cleaning fee of $250
